Now that summer has officially begun; so does the Downtown Alive festivals in Downtown Aurora.  Every Friday night, and this upcoming weekend both Friday and Saturday nights, is a show on Downer Place.  This is a great place to wear your Kifowit4Mayor T-Shirt in the crowd.  These shirts are available for pick up at the newly established Campaign office at 275 E. Downer Place. We have adult and child sizes.  Please call ahead because we do not have the office staffed yet full time.  We are asking for a $10 donation for the shirt to help us with the printing cost; however, if you don't have it then it's okay -- what's important is for you to wear it and be seen.

The Fourth of July parade is just around the corner.  We need volunteers to wear T-Shirts and pass out items in the parade.  Please e-mail me or Marco if you are free or you can call me directly at (630) 334-0341.

June Fundraising Update: 

For the month of June we kicked off our 1,000 people with $25 campaign.  So far in the first week we have raised $250 which isn't bad.  However, it is far from our goal.  Together we can have a successful campaign, and work to bring honesty and true change for the better to the City of Aurora.  A successful campaign does take a bit of money, so I am asking you to donate and to ask your friends and family to donate at least $25 a person to the campaign.  I'm not depending on big money from special interests, but on good people who want a City that they can be proud off.  You can donate online at www.Kifowit4Mayor.com securely, or send an e-mail to Kimber@Kifowit4Mayor.com and she will be happy to get an envelope in the mail for you.

It is so exciting that over 2,000 hits have been made to www.Kifowit4Mayor.com!  We need to continue to spread the word and get people excited about the positive change that can and will be made once Stephanie Kifowit is elected Mayor.  Also, new visitors can view past newsletters on our website www.Kifowit4Mayor.com and get up to date on the campaign.
